First, the service and the atmosphere were great! When it comes to the food, it was meh at best. This is the first time my wife and I have ever had Indian food that was bland. I did order a mango lassi and it was pretty good though. I would suggest going to a different Indian restaurant if you are looking for flavor. We won't go back due to there being better tasting india food around.

I chose Omi and Alka at the India House to cater a large family gathering - 40+ people - at our home the night before the Celebration of Life for my late husband. The food was abundant and delicious and drew rave reviews from our out of town guests. We picked up the food and it came in very sturdy metal trays. Everything was labeled and hot. India House catered a family wedding this past weekend and the overall experience was top notch. We had a set time to pick the food up (for 65 people) 45 minutes before the ceremony and everything was ready on time. All food was tightly and securely packed for travel. The owners even loaded the car for us as we were in formal wear. The food was delicious. I only got takeout but have a severe allergy that they easily accommodated! It's hard to find places I can confidently eat at but this will be added to the list! Also, when I picked up they had the absolute CUTEST outdoor seating😍we will be back!
