Osaka in Northampton is an incredible spot for hibachi and cocktails! We had the chicken hibachi and the filet mignon & chicken hibachi—both were absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. The lychee martini was a great surprise—light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. We sat on the enclosed patio and really enjoyed the peaceful view while we ate. The service was excellent, and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and the experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

This review is really just an overall disappointment with my last experience at Osakas. I come here often for almost every birthday of my kids and special occasions. We have been coming for over 10 years I would guess….with absolutely phenomenal service, however we came after my son’s graduation for Hibachi, a party of 7. The server taking our order was rude, and rushing us. He seemed so overwhelmed. We got our drinks after food, we didn’t get salad with our hibachi as we usually do. DON'T EAT HERE IF YOU CAN'T EAT GLUTEN Sadly, the food I was served contained gluten despite informing the server of my intolerance/allergy. I found out because I bloated like a balloon with some abdominal pain. Anyways. The food we ordered was decent, at best. Not much flavor and the chicken cooked for my fried rice was pretty dry and flavorless. I think it's worth noting my sushi was pretty good.
