Not sure why their current star rating is 4.4. We loved this place and we are picky eaters! While camping at Deerlick Campground we called for a to-go order and picked it up in the drive thru. It was ready in 15 minutes. We had a Fried Buttermilk Chicken plate with fried okra and Mac n cheese and a fried chicken liver plate with fried okra and Mac n cheese. Both meals were very good! The chicken was moist and the chicken livers were tender and fresh. The Mac n cheese was probably the best southern style Mac n cheese I've ever had. The fried okra was hot and very good!

Visited after church so they were pretty busy so we expected that. Our order was taken within 15 minutes of sitting but our server didn't come check on us after the kitchen brought our food out until we called the manager over. My daughter didn't like the fried chicken breast & wanted to change it.

Staff was great! Got us moving quickly to a seat when it was packed. Alot of leave people was there, so my husband and i ordered and we was not impressed with one thing. My chicken was bland, mashed potatoes was instant. I dont think they use seasoning here. I wanted to like it so bad but we left 75% of our food behind. I dont get it. My frozen tv dinner is better. Im sorry!

Every time I order from the drive-through, they have to hand me the plate in a slanted position I guess because the point is to let all the vegetable juice leak into the bottom of the bag and just make a complete mess. Every patron in your restaurant is paying for small portions (notice the little anorexic chicken finger photo) it way higher prices. So nobody’s getting our moneys worth we’re basically giving to charity. So a little attention to customer service would greatly be appreciated
