We’ve dined in and done takeout here a few times now, and it’s always been consistently good. The chicken is flavorful, portions are generous, and the prices are great for what you get. They’re also always adding new items, which keeps it interesting. Today I tried the loaded fries (small), and it was the perfect size for me—so delicious and satisfying. I visited Dave's Hot Chicken on June 22, 2026, at approximately 11:15 PM and asked for a water cup. The employee told me they did not have any water cups and that I would need to purchase a regular drink cup. What frustrated me was that I had just seen him give a regular drink cup to a woman before me, so I know cups were available. Instead of offering a solution, I was given no option other than paying for a cup. The situation felt inconsistent and left me disappointed with the customer service.
