I'd driven past this place a dozen times over the years and never stopped... usually because I was always westbound during busy traffic and never wanted to turn across traffic to go in. I finally did stop in Wednesday 5/28 for a sandwich for lunch, and it ended up being less that I had hoped. First of all, I get what they're going for here... focus on a niche, do it well, and insist on sticking with it until successful. Well, they've been in business for 29 years, so I guess they've been doing something right, but I have to say it wasn't apparent from my lunch order. I ordered the "One Pound

Stopped by The DA's Deli in Oak Forest on 167th. I pass it every day but never see any cars. I have also seen several social media videos so I decided to stop by. I ordered a1/2 lb Rueben. I truly enjoyed it. Choosing the 1/2lb allowed for the perfect ratio and balance of flavors. Every bite was the perfect bite. I even askee for extra thousand island; didn't even need it. Be back real soon!!!!

If you don't order the extra lean corned beef at a 25% mark up, you'll get a significant amount of fatty slices in your sandwich. There was so much fat in my sandwich that it made it too gross to eat. Fairly disgusting. The Mac n cheese is too mushy and looks like plastic. Everything is served barely lukewarm, which makes food poisoning a big possibility. This place is drive-thru only, but I had an opportunity to peek inside during a pickup, and the cleanliness of this place is subpar. Eat here at your own risk.

I was really excited to try this place, but sadly, was disappointed. This is a drive through only place, the wait was extremely long. When we finally got our food, got home to try it and was not impressed. It was rather expensive. A small Mac n cheese was extremely small for the price, the corn beef sandwich was room temperature, had no flavor. The only flavor you tasted was the rye bread. This was such a let down. We all agreed that we will not be back.
