I honestly didn’t expect this place to be so good. When I first walked in, I even thought the restaurant might be closed — it was a bit dark inside, and there isn’t much direct light over the tables. Very disappointing experience at Rockefeller Restaurant in Oak Lawn. I ordered the calamari and grilled shrimp, and both arrived at the table cold. My brother ordered the lamb chops cooked medium, but they came out cold and overcooked. I was given another order of calamari and grilled shrimp, which I appreciated, but after the first experience I no longer wanted it. We ended up not eating anything and sent the food back because it all arrived cold. Our server, Diane, also lacked personality and didn’t do much to improve the experience.
