After attending the Candlelight Concert of the Beatles in Oak Park,we made reservations for this Latin American gem . On a Friday night it was busy! Thank goodness we had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server Meyah was super friendly. We started with a few cocktails ..one being the Oaxacan Old Fashion..smokey and delicious. We tried their Market Ceviche which was on their Weekly Specials menu..Cured Mahi Mahi Brazilian Papaya,Tangerine Habanero sauce served with Sweet Potato chips.fresh and delicious. This was my first time at Maya Del Sol. The atmosphere was lively, beautiful decor, lots of space. I ordered the Rainbow Trout and it came wrapped in a corn husk. It was so delicious. My friend ordered something else and she said her food was also very delicious. The drinks were tasty as well. I will definitely visit again.

There was not a thing our table of four had that we didn’t immensely enjoy - blackened fish tacos, platanos de ropa vieja, ricotta tamales, ceviche, maya salad, mushroom tostada, elote, and churros. Portions were perfect (neither tiny nor overly huge) and everything was fresh and insanely flavorful. Cocktails were spot on as well (caipirinha and a mezcal margarita). Outdoor seating was loud but mainly due to a private party with a speaker doing speeches but the patio seating was a perfect little oasis.
