Hidden gem. Located in Preservation Park , the ambience is beautiful and inviting. Lovely Victorian homes used as offices, a fountain, birds singing, AND THE FOOD. Consistently delicious. We had the fejioda, cochinxa, and jerk chicken. Taste sensation !!! Large portions. Service from the always delightful owner is welcoming , attentive, and considerate. An absolute must try!

Cutest little spot in the historical part of Oakland, preservation Park, that you must go and visit. Careful the restaurant closes at 2pm. We showed about 24-30 minutes before closing and still was greeted with a smile. They had started packing the balcony up for closing however, the manager/owner (not sure which one) offered us or pick of seating and asked if we wanted to sit outside. We knew that they were closing, so we politely declined. He then say us at the best table in the house with the cutest view of the park. The food was bomb. This place is so underrated and family owned. Got their jerk chicken and jerk burrito. YUM!! It’s Brazilian jerk chicken, mild spice but so JUICY. They pour the juice onto the rice too and it’s perfection. Salad dressing is yummy as well. Cute and spacious patio. Highly recommend!!
