This restaurant is right near the dock on the beautiful occoquan river. The parking could be better since the only spots up from are handicap only. The food is very good and there are many drink options. The portions are great for the price. I would recommend stopping by and then taking a walk around the park afterwards.

Had a hot coffee and basket of coconut shrimp here. The coconut shrimp was yummy, and the coffee was strong and hot enough for me to fight the cold while walking around the river. Customer service was great with a white girl. She was gentle and friendly. While another black girl was mean and rude. It seemed like she did not want to be here on Sunday. The cafe shop was clean and organized. This is a pet friendly spot, too. Will come back next time.

It has a very laid-back, community feel where you can just sit back and enjoy the breeze off the river. The service was friendly and quick, making it a great place to refuel after a walk in the nearby park. Brickmakers Cafe is a wonderful hidden gem for anyone who enjoys good food in a scenic, peaceful setting.
