So so good! Service, food, atmosphere... all of it was awesome for brunch in Oceanside. We got the Southern Chicken Benny and the Brisket Hash plus the coffee cake pancake. We'll definitely be back! Oh and hubby loved the unique Bloody Mary he ordered. Our server took great care of us as well and was super patient with our kiddos.

The place has a bright, welcoming atmosphere with cozy indoor seating and a sunny patio that's perfect for people-watching in downtown Oceanside. Service was quick and friendly even on a busy holiday morning. Monte Cristo — Crispy, golden, and stuffed perfectly, with the sweet-savory balance and powdered sugar dusting. I recently visited Toasted Gastrobrunch and had a mixed experience overall. On the positive side, the lettuce, chicken, and fresh fruit were all really good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The potatoes, pancakes, eggs, and chicken sausage also had good flavor. That said, a big downside was that several of those hot items came out lukewarm instead of hot, which took away from the experience. Great food, but be prepared to wait it’s one of those spots where patience really matters. It was pretty busy when we went, with about a 30-minute wait to be seated. We ordered right away as soon as we sat down, but it still took over an hour for the food to come out just something to keep in mind. It did seem like a rush, though. Melanie was our server and was kind and attentive despite how busy it was.
