Hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. I mean "The Cortez" will def be seeing me again lol. Online it said cornbread so I'm like how will that work but when I got it it wasn't the cornbread I was assuming. The street was packed and it looked packed inside and out. Absolutely 💯 Best sourdough sandwich I've ever had! Not a fan of the unsweetened tea, but the B.C.L.T & chicken southwest soup (sorta like mexican tortilla soup) it was large enough for a dinner portion for the 1/2 sandwich & bowl of soup and drink for just $13. (It was less than $11.50 after my military discount & tax exemption! Our server was Absolutely amazing. Another server helped refill our drinks in our plastic mule Togo take home cup! First time here and the place is really sport themed yet very chill and open which I liked. I got cheese fries for my appetizer and the cheese was not good to me, so I just ate the fries that didn’t have it on it. I ordered The Angry Texan, meat wasn’t seasoned with anything, which could be standard, but the sauce and cabbage saved it because it was good. The second sandwich I had as the F.Y.D. H. and it was yummy as well. The onion rings I had as my side was not good. Just tasted like batter so I didn’t eat it. Overall it was just okay and not somewhere I would visit again.
