Look, the food was pretty good overall, no complaints here. But after we were done eating I went to pay only to find out that in 2026 they don’t take Apple Pay. So the “waitress” had me holler out (loudly) my card numbers and expiration date within earshot of at least 2 full tables, so she could enter it manually. I can’t remember the last time I went to even a hole in the wall gas station that didn’t accept Apple Pay… Unacceptable.

We had an absolutely lovely young black man as our waiter and he was so sweet, and on top of checking on us, and I watched him treat all of his other tables with the same level of customer service and table side kindness. I cant remember his name, and I'm mad at myself for it, but he was wonderful! The young Latino gentleman on the hot wheel was also wonderful, super attentive to each ingredient, for each customer. Very clean, and kept his workspace clean, his hands clean, and made sure there was no cross contamination. Absolutely wonderful, HuHot

I have not been to HuHot in about 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much cleaner it is. They have lots of options and I am GF so appreciated sauces being labeled. The standout for me was our waitperson and all around great person Tyler. He was exceptionally kind and attentive. I come from restaurant family and have pretty high service standards. He even knows grill showmanship. HuHot is lucky to have Tyler. That guy is priceless, so give him a raise. Def management material. Will be back, with friends :)

The Madison and Sun Prairie Huhots have closed down, and so whatever chance we can our family stops at Huhot in the Dells or La Crosse for a meal.
