I need to explain my 2 stars because I used to love this place, and the baristas remain great. First, this is no longer separate from White Rabbit; it’s just one entity now. Second, they used to be serious about making good coffee, and for inexplicable reasons have recently replaced their espresso machine with a Nespresso. And I have never felt so betrayed. this used to be a Coffee Shop. Now, they have a "Nespresso" apparently - I have never felt so ripped off. It is still priced like a good drink made by hand, with a steam wand and actual basket of grounds - but their staff just hits a button and liquid dribbles out of a machine. It's like a machine you might find in a hotel, where you serve yourself some weird sugary coffee-ish drink, for free, in the lobby - but it's still five bucks a drink, ordered at a counter, with tipping expected. The best iced latte I have EVER had! I don’t say that lightly. I have never reviewed a coffee shop as having the best latte ever before, and I don’t intend to ever again because I am so confident that the latte these kind people make can’t be beat. IT IS LITERAL HEAVEN ON EARTH. They also use high quality milk which really shines thru in their final product.
