I’ve heard about Dominican food and always wanted to try it. When my youngest wanted an adventurous birthday meal and chose here I was excited to go. To say it wasn’t a disappointment is an understatement. They were so welcoming of first timers and took the time to explain the dishes and what they would recommend and eat together. The sancocho was already sold out that I’d read about but all three dishes pictured were huge portions, delicious, and will bring us back again. Absolutely delicious food. The mofongo is on point. The mac salad is also delicious. Get the chicken stew option - so good. We literally loved everything we got here. This was our first Dominican restaurant, and the food was fantastic. The roasted chicken was cooked to perfection -- crispy skin and tender meat in a flavorful broth. The stew with yucca was very hearty. The rice sides and fried empanadas were delicious. They have also started making ice cream with coconut and other unique (and delicious) flavors, like yam. I'll definitely be going back.
