I ordered based on the high 4.4 rating, but as someone with a background in professional kitchens, the execution here was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. The reviews I've seen lead me to believe I was going to experience quality Thai Cuisine instead received a highly americanized food court version. My girlfriend and I ate at Thai Erawan on Christmas Eve, and we had such a wonderful experience that I wanted to leave a review. From the time we walked in until we left, everyone was so friendly, caring, and welcoming. We never felt rushed, which made for a really relaxing and enjoyable dinner. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp, and asked if they could add pineapple. They had no problem doing that, unlike some other Thai restaurants I've been to. It turned out to be one of the most flavorful Drunken Noodle dishes I've ever had. The portions were very generous too,

Absolutely the best Thai food and service In Daytona or anywhere! We are locals who have become (regularly) addicted towards the excellent of service and quality of the food. Thai Erawan is our FAVORITE Thai restaurant in Florida! We love the sweet potato fried wontons, vegetable coconut soup and I love the rice noodles with snow peas & chicken! Also the fried banana rolls with coconut ice cream is our go to dessert! One of the best things about Thai Erawan is we have been coming here for over 10 years and the service, atmosphere, food and experience has always been amazing. Thank you Thai Erawan for being one of our must visit spots when we come home to visit! PS, our very kind server, Sue told us that during lunch they have spring roll & soup special!
