The food is delicious. My favorite was the brisket sloppy joe (It doesn’t taste like a regular sloppy joe, but it’s really delicious), the baked beans with brisket, and the collard greens. My son loved his pulled pork sandwich. The highlight was being treated with so much love by (omg now I’m forgetting it’s either) Jaden or Jalen. He was so wonderful and it was our first time there. And just that kind of service makes the experience over the top good.

The food here is way above average. I wish they had different baked beans sides because theirs has a little bit too much zesty tang and it drowns out the flavor of the meat. The corn bread was good. Wish hush puppies were on the menu. Overall, I'm comparing their bbq to Wilburs from Goldsboro NC. If Wilburs is a 10, Mission BBQ is an 8.

I’m writing this as my oven preheats as I was really disappointed with the portions issued for my Thanksgiving Catered Meal ordered this holiday. The meal was so attractive to be less then $200 (XL Thanksgiving Holiday Meal) marketed to yield 12-15 servings and came with reheat instructions. Upon pickup, that didn’t appear to be the case. With the holiday the very next day, I’m left cooking to substitute the lack of servings, and sold out sides selected, for my family, the very thing we were trying to avoid this year in ordering from Mission BBQ—eliminating anyone having to cook.
