Dropped in for Sunday breakfast after a cycling event the day before. Ordered the Zucchini Bread French Toast Combo and it was amazing, and my buddy raved about his ham and cheese omelette. An absolute gem of a local joint with all the breakfast staples you expect and local hospitality to boot. It definitely appears to be a local favorite with plenty of traffic. Be sure to check for specials!

Popular breakfast spot with the locals in the area, my first time out. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and it was just ok. I was brought up on true southern style biscuits and gravy and it's very hard to find quality versions anywhere west of the Mississippi. I didn't taste any sausage in the gravy, although it was listed as sausage gravy, which it should be. Otherwise it's a waste of time, on the flip side, the biscuits were good, nice and flaky with good texture and flavor. Henri’s Café is such a gem here in Oxnard! The staff is incredibly nice, the service was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable, honestly better than IHOP! Please support our local restaurants; places like this truly deserve it. Definitely a diamond in the rough I stumbled across this place while I was in Camarillo, California I was looking for a breakfast place, but none of them looked like old school diner cafés and none of them were open until 7 AM so I found this place just 12 minutes from Camarillo and I’m so pleasantly surprised Particia was a very nice waitress and it’s definitely my kind of place. I’m getting the corned beef and hash. It says it’s homemade and I’m really looking forward to my meal.
