I ordered the broil seafood platter, one of the most expensive single food items on the menu. Everything was good but the peeled shrimp. They looked overcooked or possibly old and leftover. If I spend 36.00, I want fresh, hot, food.

Ugh… where do I even start?! I ordered the “Ultimate” fried seafood platter and it was anything but. I swapped the usual fish for bone ocean perch and received THREE tiny, toddler-sized fillet strips and I paid an up charge. Then came the shrimp situation — 3 “spiced” steamed shrimp that had zero seasoning and tasted rubbery, plus 3 battered shrimp that showed up as rock-hard, nearly black coconut shrimp. Cameron’s Seafood (Oxon Hill, MD) Listen… this “Ultimate” fried seafood platter must’ve meant ultimate disappointment 😩 I swapped my fish for ocean perch and got THREE little baby fillet strips… like they came off a kid’s menu sampler. Then the shrimp? Oh, it gets better. The “spiced” steamed shrimp had NO spice, NO flavor — just vibes and rubber. Nice service. Clean restaurant. Did not enjoy the food - crab soup had very little crab. Crab cake had no jumbo lump crab and there was no option to have it broiled instead of fried (at least on door dash).
