This is a great place for a great meal. The Metro Diner on U.S. Hwy 19 near the corner of Alderman Road is outstanding. We were seated right away and the waitress brought our beverages soon after we were seated. The menu has just about everything. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are generous. Our food was served promptly and it was pipping hot and cooked correctly. I had breakfast items for lunch and my Husband had a Rueben Sandwich off the specials menu. The grits were perfect and the bacon was crispy like I prefer it to be. The Rueben was cooked to perfection! It was his favor

Christina was amazing! She was super helpful and really took the time to help me find the perfect combo to satisfy both my sweet and savory cravings. Her recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious, and the portions were great for the price. I highly recommend trying the cinnamon roll pancake, it was incredible! Overall, such a great experience. We had a group of 8. Our 1st time there. Was quite pleased. They were able to sit us right away. Our waitress Althina was very friendly and attentive. The food was fabulous. I had 1/2 rack of ribs with fries and cold slaw. Husband has the meatloaf with mashed & green beans. Good size portions. Will definitely be back! If you haven't tried The Metro, please do!

This place is awesome! I've never been in a diner setting like this before but loved everything about it. The hosts were friendly, our server Annon (I hope I got that right) was spectacular, and the food was phenomenal. I wish I had $1 for everytime my husband came up for air and said "this place is going to be a problem". Highly recommend this place!
