Why on earth am I reviewing a Starbucks? This was, easily, the most comfortable and beautiful Starbucks I have ever visited. It is huge, with cathedral like ceilings and massive picture windows. Electric shades provide a peekaboo view while modulating the direct morning sun. You would expect a cold atmosphere with all that space, but the walls are covered with warm woods and succulents that invite conversation and community. I am a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years. I always visit a Starbucks anytime I travel throughout the USA. Customer service is normally close to 100% satisfaction. This time in Palm Springs visiting for the Pride parade. I stopped by, my wife ordered coffee, I explained I needed a cup of water to take some medication. I was told the only water they had for sale was in a plastic bottle. I explained I just needed enough water to swallow a tablet. I asked to purchase a cup of ice and was told they do not sell ice.
