We relocated to Panama City Beach from New Jersey after my husband retired. It is magical. Same ocean....different beach. Start every morning at the ocean's feet. There is one area where we have struggled.....food. The metro NJ/NYC options are hard to compete with. It can be difficult to find healthy options here. It was even more difficult to find pizza and bagels. Until we found the Bagel Maker last year. Great food and friendly guy that works behind the counter. He was very helpful and informative about helping me decide what I wanted as it was my first time there. Coffee, bagel and bacon was cooked to perfection. And the little brownie like round thing is wonderful!! Will B back!!

My wife asked for a "good" bagel and "The Bagel Maker" appeared to be one of the only locally made shops around. I chose plain, blueberry and whole grain. The plain, toasted with cream cheese was good. But so far, the whole grain with honey walnut cream cheese has been my favorite.
