We were out on the Strip on a Wednesday morning and my dad(75yr) had a simple goal, sit outside, enjoy bacon and eggs, and have a good Bloody Mary. We first stopped at Rosa Mexicano since it looked promising, but after waiting quite a while with no service and being told it would be even longer due to staffing, we decided to move on. That ended up being the best decision because we walked over to Cabo Wabo Cantina and had a completely different experience. We went to Cabo Wabo because Cabo Wabo Reposado is our favorite tequila. But, what we were blown away with is Laura's service. Laura was amazing, it felt like we have known her forever. She was kind, attentive & we loved that she was comfortable enough to sit & chat with us a few times (don't worry it was slow her personal touch did not affect the service she gave others). Since, we ordered our favorite tequila, Laura suggested a few & let us sample them, we enjoyed both. Every time Laura checked in on us it was a joy, like being visited by a friend. Wonderful atmosphere and good staff, but the food was a little underwhelming. Not bad, but not great. The salsa was roasted tomato, but lacked other flavor, and their habanero salsa had a little too much going on. The drinks were good and strong! The tacos, well the fish were really good, but just had way too much sauce on them. The chicken al pastor tacos were decent, a little dry but tasty. Overall this place is worth trying out, they do pitchers of beers and mixed drinks also if you have a big group.

Food was pretty good. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, shrimp tacos and Baja fish taco meals. It was prior to closing and we chose to eat outside. The music was loud inside but outside it was not as overwhelming. The wait staff was pleasant and took care of us. The ceviche was amazing. I got the pickled onions on the side of the fish tacos. My husband liked it so I guess it just depends on your taste. Our appetizer came out with the food, so my food was getting cold while I was eating it. It is a bit pricey for tacos but the flavor was good. I would go back for the ceviche not the fish
