David Lin★★★★★

Morimoto has long been my favorite Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas, and its recent renovation provided the perfect reason to return. The refreshed space feels elevated while still preserving the restaurant's signature atmosphere. As expected, the fish were exceptionally fresh, with each piece showcasing clean, precise flavors. However, the standout of the evening was unquestionably the lobster bun. The tender lobster, thoughtfully seasoned dressing, and pillowy bun came together in a perfectly balanced bite--rich, satisfying, and beautifully executed. The pear cocktail was another highlight

Review of Morimoto Las Vegas I dined solo at Morimoto on a Sunday evening, and the restaurant was surprisingly not very busy. I chose to sit at the sushi bar, which had plenty of open seating—but the initial experience was a bit awkward. Despite there being around eight open seats to my left, I was seated directly next to another diner on my right. What made this more uncomfortable was that several of the empty seats beside me hadn’t been cleared from previous guests. There were used plates, napkins, and even half-full wine and water glasses sitting right next to me. It took nearly 15 minute

What a pleasant dining experience ! Since there were seven of us, they recommended a ‘chefs tasting ‘ of the best they have to offer. The food was truly wonderful. Of the many items we had, the sea bass, wagyu carpaccio, the whitefish carpaccio appetizer, and the pork sticky ribs really stood out. Our waiters were fantastic as was the bartender and ladies who worked the hostess stand.

We had a fun experience here with an elevated ambiance to set the mood. We started off with a lovely seasonal salad that was balanced with fresh greens, miso vinaigrette, and pine nuts for texture. The beef short ribs were a bit tough, but the mashed potatoes were decadent and buttery while the broiled Chilean sea bass was light and flaky. Overall it was a good dinner~
