I recently visited Asian Star Buffet in Paramount, CA. Compared to the buffets I have been to in Los Angeles, I would give it 7/10. They offer a wide selection of everything from sushi and sashimi to shrimp, fried rice, crab legs, lobster, pizza, salad, chicken, fish, ice cream (pistachio, cookies and cream, vanilla, coffee!), and more. I enjoyed almost everything they had a bit. The pricing is very reasonable for budget-conscious diners or hungry groups, especially given the volume and variety available. This place was awful, I’ll never be back. They sat there and watched us eat with our empty drinks for almost 15 mins. No one asked if we needed a refill. It’s a buffet everything else is self served except for drinks. What’s the reason for the laziness and bad service? Save your money go somewhere else. They stared at us the whole time but didn’t even check to see if our drinks needed refilling.
