Everything was dry , even the service which was really a disappointment because youre almost fooled by presentation. Couldn't even get a flavored margarita (only spicy). Forgive me if this a small local business only catering to the neighborhood i get it, im from South South Philly myself but First and last for myself , outdoor seating was pretty nice but 3 outta 10 I would recommend 😉

What a surprise! This place was a delight. We split the big pretzel, chicken tenders, and steak with arugula. Everything was fantastic! Steak came pre-sliced which was great. Fries were super crispy. The pretzel was delish. The only feedback I'd leave for the restaurant is to space out the appetizer from the meals (we received our food 1-2 minutes after the pretzel) but other than that I have no notes. Definitely would come back to Kite & Key again. Thanks!

Kite & Key is a fantastic little tavern restaurant in the museum section of the city. It's within easy walking distance of the Franklin Institute and the Barnes. I was there with a group of colleagues from work for a team event, and we could not have had a better time! The location was convenient (with easy parking right at the corner), the atmosphere was wonderful, the outside patio was open and inviting, and the food and drinks were great. Our wonderful hosts Jim and Teri were the best part of our experience. They took amazing care of us and made us feel right at home. I can't wait to

Great service. Burgers, pretzel, fries were great, great selection of drinks. Unfortunately the French dip was the worst I ever had, the beef (which was not shaved roast beef) had no flavor and neither did the au jus (basically water). I will be coming back but not ordering the French dip.
