I had such a delightful experience at La Monarca Bakery on a rainy evening in Pico Rivera with my amigas! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the friendliest, most patient service by Jonathan G., who made sure everything was perfect for us. I bought a mocha cake for my mothers bday. The service was great and 10/10. They have birthday signs made out of fondant in different colors, I got the red one for my mom. I did ask if the cake was fresh before buying and they informed me since the shop is small, they have the cakes delivered to them from a different location each morning. So i assume cakes are freshly made every day. The cake looked beautiful and was nicely presented with a square flat base. The frosting was delicious and tasted like mocha. The cake/bread did lack flavor and was a bit dry. The mocha cake would taste marvelous

Really bad customer service from the manager. My mom was ordering from her, wouldn't look at my mom and told her yeah I heard you. If you're going to have such a bad attitude and don't want to help customers then maybe Customer Service isn't for you.
