This was my first time at Oyo. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful as well! Axel was attentive, but not hovering and friendly, but not overbearing. There's even an area where guests can play the piano and steel drums. I'm planning to come back with my friends and family!

OYO was highly recommended by a colleague of mine, so I had to try it out. She told me to get the oxtails and coconut rice - “it was the best oxtails she ever had.” I’m a little hard to please being raised in the South and well travelled. However, I must say OYO has something amazing cooking 🥘. The oxtails gravy was delicious- I could swim in that gravy all night 😂. I wish my oxtails were a little more meaty. I recommend mixing the oxtails gravy with the rice for an amazing experience-it elevated the dish from a 4/5 to 5/5. The portion size is great- I had to take food to go! I enjoyed

We had a different paella from Oyo before and that delivered on the high expectations, but the pumpkin soup had a great flavor (slight curry I think). The plait bread alone was okay but when paired with the soup, it enhanced the soup. The bread alone was dense. Also I remember the cast iron bread from two years ago, which was far better.

Oyo in Pleasanton was recommended to me by a travel colleague, and since I love South American cuisine, I was excited to finally try it. The ambience was one of the first things that stood out to me — the interior design and overall atmosphere were beautiful, modern, and very well put together.
