This gorgeous venue is tucked away in an up and coming arty neighborhood. Its green velvet and wooden bar is the perfect scene for a couple of cocktails. And then you take a bite and the night is perfect. Fresh hot biscuits with hot pepper jelly, crab cake beignets, and classic fried green tomatoes are only a portion of the southern delights you can find here. The service is absolutely wonderful and the vibe is immaculate. Great for a simple family dinner or a special occasion. I can't wait to go back when the weather turns cool so I can sit on the gorgeous wooden deck patio.

The biscuits are absolutely amazing—perfectly warm, fluffy, and paired with an amazing selection of dipping sauces like honey butter, pepper jam, and fruit jam that take them to the next level. The restaurant is definitely a must try. The vibes were great and the inside was beautifully decorated with comfy seating. The outdoor area felt like a little oasis and created such a nice atmosphere. They also had a DJ coming later which seemed like it would make the experience even more fun. South recently hosted our daughters baby shower for approximately 50 people. It was outdoors on the terrace and was simply an amazing afternoon. The food was excellent (as good as you'd get if you were seated indoors) and the service was impeccable. We could not be more pleased with Rachel and her staff, and would gladly do it all again.
