“We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the mozzarella sticks, and both hit. The spaghetti had great flavor and the meatballs tasted fresh and well made. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and exactly what you want. Definitely a spot I’d go back to.”
“This was our first time. The food was good and the drinks were great. The prices were a little high and they need more choices. Not a lot to choose from the menu.”

Emily D★★★★★LOVE LOVE LOVE perfect Italian restaurant! Amazing everything!!!! We got the warm olives, chicken parm, focaccia bread (homemade) and ALL were FANTASTIC! Don’t forget the perfect espresso martini!! Loved our server Noah so much as well! One of the best servers I have had since moving to Portland earlier this year. Can’t wait to go back!
Ben Rylance★★★★★Genuinely the first and only time I’ve cried over food. The chicken parm was phenomenal and tasted almost exactly like my favorite place back home in New York and was the first time I’ve really felt home sick since moving here. All the rest of the food we got was great and the service was excellent. Despite appearing pretty busy we were able to get sat relatively fast.

Kellie Simms★★★★★Came here on a Sunday night for a birthday dinner with 3 people. We must've lucked out, we got seated in about 15 minutes. Our server and the host were absolute angels - they were sweet and kind and went out of their way to take care of us. Atmosphere was cute, cozy and felt like could've been someone's living room. We ordered the red sauce, cauliflower, fried mozzarella, arugula salad and olives. Everything was exceptionally tasty, hot when it arrived (except the salad) and perfectly seasoned. It arrived quickly, with enough time in between dishes to digest a bit. For three people, we ordered a bit too much food, but had some to take home, which was nice. The cauliflower and fried mozzarella were stand-out dishes - still thinking about them the next day. We ordered budino for dessert, which was heaven in a little dish. No complaints, would HAPPILY go back anyday, anytime. Gabbiano's we love you.
Kari Stark★★★★Gabiano’s is such a great addition to the neighborhood, and I’m so glad it’s there. The atmosphere is warm and lively, the patio is perfect in the summer, and the service throughout our meal was genuinely wonderful. We started with the fried mozzarella, which was delicious. The mozzarella itself was clearly high quality, the breading was perfectly crisp, and the marinara was outstanding. One of our three pieces happened to be missing the cheese inside, which was a little surprising, but the other two were fantastic. The standout starter, though, was the stone fruit and burrata salad. It tasted like summer on a plate—beautiful heirloom tomatoes, fresh stone fruit, creamy burrata, and so much flavor. My only small note would be that a couple of the sourdough croutons still had the thick crust attached and were pretty difficult to chew, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise incredible dish. For our entrée, we had the Dungeness crab vodka pasta, and it was exceptional. The pasta was
Christina Provencio★★★★★The portions are impressive!! So so good. The Caesar salad was perfect, can definitely be shared with four people or more. Had to get the fried mozzarella, a staple! On special, they had a French onion soup dish that was tasty. And the crab pasta dish was my favorite, perfectly spiced! Will definitely be back🍝🍝🍝
Sweet Honey (Pie)★★★★This was our first time. The food was good and the drinks were great. The prices were a little high and they need more choices. Not a lot to choose from the menu.
McKenna Bessette★★★Incredibly underwhelming experience for a place that is semi-difficult to get into and on the pricier side. We tried two times to get in for dinner unsuccessfully before finally making it on a Sunday night, but we had to get there right at 4 when they opened to make sure we could get in. Our waitress was fine, a little apathetic. I also ordered a coke and when I went to the bathroom later in the meal a different staff member brought a refill that I didn’t ask for and wasn’t around to accept, and then charged me for it. But honestly, when I go out to eat I really only care about the food and can overlook a lot for great food. That did not happen here. We got the focaccia, which was the best thing we had. The fried mozzarella is talked about so much and it was such a let down. The breading was kind of soggy already by the time it got to us. All of our food came with steam coming off yet none of it was really hot, not sure how that happens. The Caesar salad was just really wet. The dressi
