The best barbecue I have ever had. The seasoning and the amount of smoke was outstanding!! The building from the outside is very plain and not one that you would think to go in -- BUT, it is a must because the food is excellent!! I am very honest in my reviews and this place is everything I've said.

I hate to say it, but the BBQ restaurants in central Alabama aren’t that great. Chris’s is different. I got the 3 meat combo. It had pulled pork, ribs, and a thick slab of brisket😳. The price was a bit high to me at first, but most BBQ restaurants are kinda high because of what it takes. But once I got my plate, I understood. A 1 inch thick slab of fatty brisket 😳🤤🤤. Other than the baked beans being a bit salty for my tastes, everything else was excellent.

Saturday, July 6, 2024 Everything perfectly the same! Still 5 stars! Came in with the birding group again too. I ordered the same exact thing too. Worth every penny. Like someone else mentioned in a post the sauce does remind me of steak sauce, probably why I like it so much. This is not like your regular sweet bbq sauce. This is one of my favorite bbq places. If you asked me-I have three favorite places I recommend for bbq and this is one of them. I don’t know why this restaurant doesn’t have a higher rating. Breakfast was straight garbage. I don't understand how you can screw up eggs and bacon. Even the hash browns tasted weird never coming back to this dump. Best thing I had there was the minute maid orange juice, probably because they didn't touch it.
