Im a huge Taco fan and just moved to the Prescott area- So I decided to try Taco Dons. I bought two chicken street tacos and Sophia’s . The chicken was boiled and had a decent amount of chicken water in the taco. It tasted odd and the chicken smelled odd. I ate 3/4 of one and tossed the other taco. I might give this place one more chance but I will never order chicken from there from my goodness experience there.

First time here so I ordered a carne asada and shredded beef tacos - the meat in both tacos tasted all right, the cilantro wasn’t fresh so I removed most of it to avoid an upset stomach. Looks like food quality control isn’t as good - hope Don will improve.

I just moved to the area and i'm originally from New Mexico, so when I saw a line around the corner at their drive up the other day, I had to go in and try a few things today! Very unpretentious casual setting but the food is recently prized and extremely tasty! I love that they have fry bread! And something new to me was their cheese crisp, but that was also very good and of course, being named Taco Don's, I had to try the taco, which was excellent. Good tasy HOT sauce too. Our party of 4 all had amazing food! It was my first time and I wasn't very hungry, so I got the chicken taquitos with chips and salsa. The taquitos were the size of large floutas and were perfectly crunchy and delicious! They were served with nicely seasoned guacamole that wasn't full of tomatoes and a large bed of lettuce with tomatoes. My companions had breakfast burritos and another dish with wonderfully smelling beans and rice. The employees were super patient and kind! I don't often make it to that side of town but will eat there whenever I do!
