This review is LONG overdue. I've been to this location as far back as the mid 90's when my parents moved from Brooklyn to Queens so this White Castle is a long standing fixture of my growing up around the Ozone Park area of Queens and I can't recall any bad service or awful food transaction here. Today is also no different. My usual staple meal here is 2 chicken w/ cheese sandwiches, a double bacon and cheese slider, and mozzarella sticks. I was impressed by the cleanliness, and great customer service of this White Castle. The location was decent when I left New York 17 years ago and has gotten better since. I ordered a chocolate milk with my meal. The guy at the window gave me a straw and asked if I wanted a spoon. I remember being able to drink a shake through a straw (Pause). Shake was thick, and good. I ended up using a spoon for it. When I return to New York this will continue to be one of my go to White Castle locations.

Online it still says they’re open, but that’s not true. They’re not 24 hours anymore. I placed an online order around 11 PM, went to the location, and the place was completely closed—no signs, no notice, chairs up, lights off, nobody inside. I paid $16 for an order I never received, and I’m still waiting on a refund. They need to update their hours because customers shouldn’t be misled like that.

The cashier that assisted me was excellent, she had a good vibe and the food was out quickly, the food wasn’t bad. BUT I am almost 100% sure they shake or something was expired or they put good shake mix with bad shake mix, idk but me and my girlfriend got food poisoning yesterday cause of it. Couldn’t eat anything the whole day, vomiting water and running out of breath because of how bad it was.Pretty sure it was the shake cause that’s the only thing we had that was the same or the chicken rings.
