I got a lobster roll for lunch. It was busy and orders were moving quickly. I was shocked to hear the price was $42, but was willing to give it a shot. After getting it to go and walking 5 min down the beach to eat I was disappointed. The lobster was fresh and lightly dressed, but the bun wasn’t toasted enough and the fries were soggy. I mentioned that it was a small amount of fries for $42, but I just got a “enjoy your meal“ back.

Love this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid & have loyalty to the Clam Box, because the food is hot & delicious! The staff is friendly & helpful and they have the BEST homemade CLAM CHOWDER on the South Shore!! Delicious! The scallops plate is very generous portion & surprisingly the Steak tips are great too! Give it a try you'll be glad you did! I've been a loyal customer for 50 years! Ample parking across the street at the beach! Clam box is an A+ experience!

Simple and classic. Would not recommend the lobster as it wasn’t sort of dry and not flavorful. But the fried food was good and the fries were fresh cut and delicious and the shrimp was crispy

Can’t beat a whole belly clam dinner plate. Also ordered a clam chowder and fried shrimp plate. Everything was awesome. Came out hot and fresh. Very busy spot but they churn out orders in 10-15 minutes. Price is reasonable.
