Fantastic spot right next to the famous waterfront Starbucks in Long Beach! Just like Starbucks, you get a beautiful view of the ocean right from your table, though the outdoor seating definitely offers the best vantage point. We ordered a few classic Japanese dishes—the Unagi Don (eel rice), ramen, chicken katsu curry, and a sushi platter. Everything tasted great, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend if you want good food with a view!

We were a party of 5 adults and 1 child. All the dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. No one had any issues with the food, which is especially important when it comes to seafood. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Right at the entrance, I asked if we could sit outside so we could enjoy the sunset and the ocean view in Rancho Palos Verdes while having Japanese food, which my wife and I love. I also asked if the outdoor heater could be turned on since it was cold and windy. They said yes, but it was only turned on more than an hour later—by then I was almost leaving and

Can’t beat sushi with this view! We came around sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous — the sky turned pink and orange right over the ocean. The patio seating was warm and cozy with little lights everywhere. The sushi was super fresh (especially the yellowtail and toro!) and the staff were so friendly. Perfect place for a chill evening with friends or date night.

Absolutely love this place! Super fresh fish, great vibes, and an amazing ocean view. We sat by the window and could see the sunset while enjoying our sushi — so relaxing! The rolls were delicious (highly recommend the Bluefin toro roll!), and the presentation was beautiful. You can really tell the chefs care about quality here. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience just felt easy and enjoyable. Prices are fair for the quality and view you get. Perfect spot for a nice dinner date or weekend lunch. Definitely coming back soon!
