We were looking for a place to grab breakfast before the Celtics first playoff game and we happened upon a former Friendly's restaurant and frankly I was skeptical but, when you opened that door it was friendly warm atmosphere! We were greeted at the door by the owner and her staff. The food was the best breakfast I have ever had! Not only was the food the best but the service was top notch! We will most definitely be back! My boyfriend got the steak skillet and I got the Eggceptional breakfast whish was 2 of everything! Trust me its the best!!!

In from out of town, ended up at the Sunnyside Cafe from a Google search. Couldn’t have been happier. Food and service were great! Loved the breakfast potatoes. (and I can’t remember the last time I ate at a diner that had coffee mugs with ads on them)

This place is a gem. Diners like this are hard to find these days. I got a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a grilled English muffin and it was absolutely phenomenal. Home fries were delicious. Also the eggs Benedict is fantastic. You’d be happy with anything you would order on the menu. The owner john was awesome. He came out to talk to us after we asked about the mugs that the coffee’s served in. Turns out you can purchase them. Overall I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.

This has become my regular spot over the last couple of years or so. I have seen nice improvements since the new owners recently took over. I love the diverse customer base. And the way they treat all of their customers. The entire staff including the cooks, bus people, and waitresses say hello. The menu has a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. If youre in the area I recommend you try them at least once.
