It was our first time . We have drove by fir years and place was always packed . We finally stopped and we are so glad we did. We were greeted at the door by Salvatore owner and quickly were seated .Our server was Comstantine. And we were well taken care of. We ordered the eggplant and mixed ravioli for appetizer and also were treated to bread and their garlic.olive oil butter spread. Wife had lasagne..and I had the best chicken parm EVER! I’m glad I’m from out of state because this place would get all my money. We went there Friday night and I’m still drooling about it. I got the melanzane parmigiana and it was SO yummy. The Italian butter is super tasty. I felt like I needed to be rolled out in a wheelbarrow because I couldn’t not eat everything. Our server was super sweet. The music was great and the atmosphere felt very ambient. I would so recommend coming here.

Food was amazing, service had me baffled. I ordered the Atkins Spedinis and requested pasta with alfredo sauce for the side. My friend was pretty sure the waiter misunderstood, so she clarified with him I wanted pasta with alfredo sauce, not red. He confirmed he understood - but sure enough, I got pasta and red sauce. There was some language barrier and the chicken spedinis were AMAZING, so I decided to focus on the positive. I wasn't able to eat it all, so asked for a box to go and the waiter packed it up for me. Got home and there was absolutely no sauce, and I had left plenty to reheat. L

This has been one of the best kept secrets in KC for over 25 years. They serve up delicious, authentic Sicilian dishes, and the portions are huge. The Three Way Ravioli can serve a single adult for a week. I don't think the prices have increased more than a dollar in over 25 years either. Sammy (the owner) treats you like you just walked into his home every time you come in. This is my favorite place to dine or grab a drink in KC.
