We truly enjoyed this restaurant in our Redding, CA stopover on our trip from Corvallis, OR to Monterey, CA. The food was exquisite and the service was prompt and friendly. The asparagus appetizer was perfectly grilled and the cheese-based sauce was delicious. We each had the "Z-Bowl" with blackened Ahi, vegetables and rice (my wife had her Ahi 'seared', I requested mine well done). All three sauces (on the side) were very delicious - curry, teriyaki and a sweet/spicy chilli. Returned for my wife Birthday dinner. Absolutely enjoyed our dinner. Wife had Lasguna with (two extermly large)meatballs, I had gnocchi (very good), and our friend had shrimp and grits. Top it off we had homemade gelleto (x3 Nutella, Blueberry and Vanilla), Bread pudding, and a pineapple cheesecake all were extermly delicious. Service was amazing. We will return again. This is our FAVORITE restaurant in Redding. Mike and Amber are amazing and the food is delicious. Service is always top notch. It never disappoints. Definitely recommend making a reservation though as it’s a small restaurant and they’re usually pretty full!
