​I ordered several items and here is my review: ​Baguette: Absolutely awesome—no arguments needed. ​Onion Soup: Delicious, especially when paired with the baguette, but it was a bit too salty for my taste. ​Escargot: The sauce was simply amazing. ​Butter Cheese Pasta: The noodle was gnocchetti (a great, simple style). The flavor was simple but rich—you might want a side of pickles to cut through it. ​Chicken: A little salty, but it was really good when eaten with the side baked potato. ​Overall, every dish tasted like it was perfectly made to go with red wine. Nice atmosphere, laid back but elegant. The bread and steak were very good. The peppercorn sauce delicious. The potatoes were a little bit less than they needed to be, let down the steak and sauce some. Overall, would still have it again. We finished with the Basque cheesecake, the berry sauce was lovely, the whole thing was visually appealing, but the cheesecake was not. It was overcooked, wayyyyy too dense and dry. I love dining out but only a few restaurants have inspired me to post a review - this was one of them. Having grown up thinking French food was formal and fussy, it is not usually my first choice in dining options. Dominique's Kitchen has changed my perception. Friends in South Bay discovered this gem during Covid through Dominiques takeout menu. They have been raving about the Beouf Bourguignon and I finally made it in house! It's a cozy atmosphered neighborhood spot. Decent non-exorbitant wine selection and large portioned dishes! It was perfect for a dinner with friends who like to eat family style and share.
