I expect a coffee roaster to prepare matcha fresh, not pour it from a pre-made bottle with chunks floating in it. I won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for good matcha, this is not the place you won’t enjoy it. It looks cheap and poorly prepared. I’m just being honest: you should do better than this as a coffee roaster. Especially you’re pretty popular, but it seems like you’re too cheap to make your staff to make the Matcha fresh not just out of the bottle who knows what brand the matcha is too.

ARTISAN CRAFTSMANSHIP. That’s the best way to describe my initial experiences with Hub and their coffee roasts. I cannot say enough about the quality, the attention to detail in their efforts to reflect the sourcing of their beans and the people whose sweat equity provided those as well. This spot was a great find. Just happened upon it while out for a run and I loooooove good coffee. They did a great job with my espresso, seems like they have wonderful beans with some great flavor that you could really taste due to the baristas doing a great job pulling hots. It wasn't the least bit bitter or sour and they didn't burn the milk. Super nice staff as well. Will definitely be back next time I am in Reno.
