A Richardson★★★★I am gluten free and appreciate a restaurant that has their menu clearly marked on what dishes can be prepared gluten free. They also had vegan options marked. We came here on a Thursday night as we passed through town. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and we were seated right away. I know spicy levels are relative but the waitress explained that they use fresh chilis which makes their food hotter than if they used dried chilis. At another Thai restaurant I frequent, I have to order a level 4 but this restaurant has true spice levels. I ordered a level 2 and it was hot…maybe a little

We were interested in trying this place out because we're always looking for decent Thai food, but hadn't had a chance to visit The Coconut Downtown yet. We ordered tofu Tom Kha as an appetizer and it arrived about 30 seconds before our main dishes, which seemed a little wonky on timing, but whatever, no biggie. The soup was pretty good, which I was glad for because I sadly had to send my main dish back to the kitchen. I always judge a Thai place on their Pad Thai, and unfortunately, my Tofu Pad Thai smelled and tasted like some sort of clea

It tastes every bit as good as it looks. The spot has a lovely view of the downtown and the biggest little skyscrapers in all the west. Eat, drink and get some ice cream next door cause it's damn good cream. Happy sailing. 🍜🏴☠️
