Stopped into The Shore at the Renaissance for breakfast while visiting my son at college, and it was the perfect choice. ​First off, bring an appetite! The portions here are massive, which was exactly what we needed. I had the full stack of pancakes and they were a total hit that honey butter on top is incredible and makes them just melt in your mouth. ​The service was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. Stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and had dinner there the first night. Tables on the river which provided relaxing views. The food, wait staff, and management were all top notch. The food was so good we had breakfast there twice and dinner again due to the quality and service here. I have to say it was one of the best places I’ve eaten at anywhere. The last morning we sat at the chefs table and watched them prepare breakfast. Teamwork and professionalism by all in the kitchen. Fun place. If you are in Reno give it a try.

Food is not worth it. Atmosphere is amazing. Service is great. Recommend going for cocktails or something. My coffee was burnt. My pancakes were overcooked. The potatoes were greasy. My wife got eggs Benedict and the yolks were over medium not runny. Hollandaise sauce was awful. Allie was amazing though! Great environment and service. Views were spectacular. While I wouldn’t come back for the food. We would come back for the vibes.

Its like a Gastro Pub type of food. Every dish was excellent and taken to the next level. Shepards pie was delicious and similar but much more gourmet version of the English dish. Savilio Salad was satifying but the side of carrots were very tastey. Duck was also perfectly done. Dessert was a small but very rich flourless chocolate cake was decadent and can be shared for a satisfied ending. Sitting inside is nice but if the weather allows outside on the river was fantastic. Make resurvations for that. Our server Daniele was excellent in all regards. Would go again.
