First time here and tried the shakshuka, avocado toast, and Turkish dumplings (not pictured). I also got the matcha half sweet, but the adjustments tasted as if there was completely no sugar. Not the best matcha. The food was good, but a bit pricey. Either way, they seem more popular for their desserts over the drinks. I really like the atmosphere and the aesthetic of the cafe. Absolutely loved my visit to Cafe Hasel! The whole place has such a cute, cozy vibe, and the outdoor covered seating makes it even better. Perfect for hanging out with friends while playing board games and enjoying your evening coffee. We have visited this place multiple times with our family and kids and each time we leave very satisfied. The man who serves us, possibly the owner or someone who works here, is very kind and attentive and you can clearly see that he really cares about what he does. Hasel is the kind of place you stumble into once and immediately start telling people about. The Turkish and Mediterranean influence on the menu sets it completely apart from anything else in the area. The borek alone is worth the trip, savory, perfectly flaky, and clearly made with actual care. The beef is my go-to but the spinach and cheese holds its own. The coffee is genuinely excellent.
