True Food Kitchen Misses the Mark in Reston We went with the simple aim of trying something new and arrived at True Food Kitchen with tempered expectations: a casual, health-minded franchise promising balance, freshness, and ease. The experience, however, felt oddly disconnected from that promise. The seasonal market salad set the tone—wilted greens, muted flavors, and little sense of intention. 5 Stars!! Oh my goodness me and my partner LOVED this place. We loved it so much that we ate out at this restaurant again the very next night! Our food was incredible, and our server was so amazing and so friendly 😊 I didn't catch her name but she had red hair. When I'm back in Reston again I will definitely come back to this restaurant

I had a good experience at True Food. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. I ordered the tenderloin steak for $37 — the portion was on the smaller side and the cut thinner than what you’d get at a steakhouse, though the meat was tender. The nice part is that it’s grass-fed, which adds to the value.
