I really miss the actual Genji's restaurant. The experience of being around a table watching a trained Japanese chef prepare your meal was amazing! Covid slowed or shut down many restaurants. They started the Genjigo's & were instantly very popular. The food & service are still exceptional. It's the atmosphere & the experience that are very different. The to go pricing is close to the cost of the sit down Gentian meal. Nothing like watching your meal being prepared in front of you & being entertained while you watch. I miss seeing the onion volcano, gorgeous pineapple desert for birthdays,

I’ve been to this location a few times and the food as well as customer service are consistent. I’m old school and remember the location on Brice and how delicious the food was. To go doesn’t give you the experience but the food is just as good. For the price you can eat half now and the rest later. Definitely enough to keep you full the entire day.

I love the art theme of Manga/Anime style on the walls. The food was served fast and you get a big portion so I recommend sharing if you’re not a big eater. The star of the show was the Ginger Lemonade it was so good I was drinking it more than eating my food and then mixed the sweet tea with the lemonade and it was a 10. I wish this wasn’t so far from me because I’d stop by just for some rice and lemonade all the time

Bunch of employees standing around talking. My order was supposed to be ready at 8:14. I got there just after and it wasn't ready. They told me it'd be a few more minutes, which was fine. However, when they finished it they took it over to the shelf, did not tell me it was done and let me sit there for a half hour before I finally went to check and see what was going on. Will not be back. Absolutely ridiculous.
