I think I may have just found my new favorite coffee shop in Richmond! First off, compared to other coffee spots in the area, this place is so affordable. For a French muffin with sausage and egg, a bagel with sausage, and two drinks, we spent just $20! At a lot of other cafes, breakfast and drinks for two can easily run close to $40, so this was such a pleasant surprise. The shop itself is absolutely adorable. I dont know who their hiring manager is, but they deserve a raise. Blackhand has the most warm, welcoming employees. Genuinely a joy to just order a drink from these lovely people. Also bonus points for having a delicious chai latte and sausage/egg/cheese on an everything bagel.

The dirty chai is impeccable, very spicy. I also had a sausage egg n cheese on an English muffin that honestly tasted like a home cooked one. Outdoor patio is dog friendly and an absolute vibe. The inside is a little small but they’ve done a great job optimizing the space they have!
