Finally made it here! The baked cabbage dish is on another level of just deliciousness. The pasta is perfect, paired with incredible wine and bread. Portions are very large, which is perfect because I need this more than once in my life! We sat at the bar and the service was prompt and thorough. We were given great recommendations. I would recommend a reservation as, we got in line at 445pm for the 5pm open. While we were able to sit at the bar, it filled up immediately.

Great food served family style with generous helpings. The entrance is different and deceiving , kinda makes you feel like you're going into an exclusive club that no one is supposed to know about, but then you open the door into a modern style restaurant set in a historic building. I had the flank steak, and it was delicious! The calamari and the squid salads were also plentiful and delicious.

Do not let the outdoor sign that features shared billing for TWO (separate) restaraunts fool you. Do not let the mention of SQUID on the outdoor sign the shouts "HIBACHI BOX" fool you either! Edo's Squid his is NOT an Asian restaurant. EDO's SQUID is is an authentic ITALIAN restaurant, located upstairs, over the street level Hibachi Box, located on the ground floor. Get reservations! I actually visited the Hibachi Box not Edo's Squid. The food is truly amazing. I flew in from Vegas and caught a Uber right before they closed. That's how I like this place.
