Just placed a to go order for a cup of soup and nachos supreme...minus the jalapeños, green onions and sour cream and this is what came out. See 1st pic. I then asked for the chili, tomatoes, cheese and olives and she brings a partial cup, not even a 1/3 full (which has green onions in it and maybe 1/4 of one roma tomato...see 2nd pic. I didn't dare ask for anything else at that point. Times must be hard at McAllisters.........

Man. The jalapeno turkey crunch from Mcalisters deli is quite tasty! I may start getting this more often.. jalapeno potato chips are added right into the sandwich to give it a "crunch." The soft texture of the jalapeno infused bread and turkey is enhanced by the lasting, delightful crunch. Very satisfying!! If you want the most out of it, I suggest putting extra jalapeno chips inside. The smoky and creamy layers are awesome! Additionally, this location at Towers Shopping Center is spotless and has kind, pleasant employees.

6/15/26 - they ask if you want lemon in iced tea, I say no and they put it in anyway. And ever time I come it seems like sandwich gets smaller. For the price it is a sign of being cheap. 12/10/25 - portions are smaller and prices are higher at almost $20bucks. And they can't turn on the heat. 05/30/25 - some days great service others not so much. Waiting for food to come to table is ridiculous when busy with one person working. This was truly the worst time I had had in a McAlister's since we moved to Roanoke three years ago. It had been a five star experience then, but now it is horrible. The store is filthy. The staff are underprepared, understaffed, and under motivated. The food looks like the chefs have fully given up. My potato looked dessicated. My son's ham and cheese toastie was 1/3 full. We had to choose the least disgusting booth we could find. Even this was covered in crumbs and dust, with trash stuffed between the booths.
