The best coffee shop in the area. Period. The baristas were so nice, the vibe was welcoming, and the location was very neighborhood-y. The stand out for us though was the coffee. We got iced lattes and espresso shots. They use a great locally roasted blend for their espresso, and their baristas know what they're doing. Since moving to the Roanoke area about 5 or 6 years ago, RND has been a staple in my experience of the area, and oftentimes one of the main highlights. Without a doubt, the coffee is the best I've had in the entire southwest Virginia region. Every flavor of latte, every type of coffee bean, is exceptional. I went to RND Coffee a couple of weeks ago while on a date, and it was an awesome experience. I’m not too familiar with all the coffee lingo, but the staff was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made great suggestions that helped me pick something I really enjoyed. My coffee was amazing! What makes it even better is the location—it’s right next to the Greenway. Perfect spot to grab a coffee and then head out for a nice scenic walk. Great atmosphere, great people, and great coffee.
