Roam Cafe was a great first experience and definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent, and they offer solid gluten free and vegetarian options, which is always a plus. There’s no dedicated kids menu, but that didn’t feel like a drawback since there are plenty of sides to choose from, especially the mac and cheese, which was outstanding. I had the veggie pesto pizza and it was perfection. My husband ordered the Impossible burger. He said it was decent, but a little on the dry side. The spinach artichoke dip was a standout, served with deep fried pita chips that were seriously addictive.

My server Christine was absolutely amazing and attentive throughout my experience, I was impressed with her professionalism and good energy, so much so that it enraged me when I overheard the bartender, Mischa yelled across the bar at Christine to “pay attention to the door” where she looked away for a millisecond. As someone who has worked in restaurants for over 10 years I felt the tension in the employees interactions the moment I walked in and didn’t understand why until I heard Mischa being disrespectful to Christine. We had dinner here and loved it. The atmosphere and decor was so nice. I love the brick arches, lights and NYC paintings. The meatball sandwich on Ciabatta was great. The chicken parm was good. The best was the special creamy garlic sauce Pasta with chicken and sundried tomato entrée. We will be back!

This place is working hard to keep a good name! In my opinion a solid 4.5-4.6 out of 5. They cook all fresh ingredients. Artichoke hearts were awesome. Turkey sandwich was great too. Chritia, the waiter, made my visit enjoyable and provided a great quick service. Also, nice location and seating outside.
