#169 Wayne's Pizza is a superb thin crust tavern style pizza with great proportions and a very nice undercarriage. From the light sauce to the crust and toppings, Wayne's really balances their pie well. The cheese, oregano, and sausage just destroy this pizza unfortunately. The search continues for the best sausage pizza.

Wayne's, a pizza take-out establishment has been in business since 1964 ... 62 years and I gave a loyal customer 1969 when we moved to AH!! They are the most consistent in Pizza building and delivery! I have never received a bad pizza!!! They offer thin crust and double decker pizza, not to be confused with deep dish.... A double decker is 2 pizzas..... One on top of the other... You don't know what you're missing if you haven't tried one yet. The delivery people are always timely, courteous, and friendly... I hope they will be around for another 62 years ❤️😀

Grew up eating Wayne’s! Back in the northern suburbs this week, I figured to place an order to bring back home. It’s been close to 15 years since I’ve had food from here and it was everything I remembered! Double decker is the way to go. Prices aren’t horrible, either.

Had my heart set on ordering a pizza with thick crust for dinner. There is no information (or pictures) online to explain the different crusts options. Let this be your info you may be looking for! I was quite confident that when I ordered 'double crust' that I would be content. There was zero difference between what I received and the thin crust I also ordered for my kids. Needless to say I was entirely disappointed. Spoke to Niko on the phone and was told I was wrong because he remembers making it. Apparently what I know about double crust (at nearly every other pizza place) or crust at all
